    Background

    Exploring the Customer-Facing Market

    To deepen my understanding and expertise in the consumer-facing market by researching leading e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopee.

    I aim to explore consumer preferences in navigating a wide range of product offerings and investigate how consumers discover the right products that meet their needs effectively.

    Shopee aims to provide affordable prices, and a convenient online shopping experience. Its free delivery offer helped it grow quickly in the Taiwan market since October 2015.

    In less than two years, it became a leading e-commerce platform in Taiwan,
    with over 10 million members and 8 million monthly transactions.

    Shopee is a Singaporean multinational technology company that specializes in e-commerce.

    Understanding the Problem Through Interviews

    I interviewed 6 Shopee users from Taiwan to understand their behavior and pain points. They shared their experiences from the past 1.5 months, detailing how they search and make shopping decisions.
